How are the Find an Opponent numbers calculated?

The numbers on the city and district pages come from real matches posted in the app. They are not estimates or sample data.

  • Source: Matches posted publicly in the Find an Opponent section of the Sporsepeti app, and the applications they received.
  • Left out: Private one-to-one match requests, cancelled matches, deleted or closed accounts and venue staff accounts.
  • Matches posted: Matches posted in the given period. The last 7 and 30 days count back from the day the page was updated.
  • Active players: Distinct players who posted a match in the area, or applied to one there, in the last 30 days.
  • Level: The current SS-Rating (ELO-based) of the player who posted, in that sport: below 1200 Beginner, 1200 to 1399 Medium, 1400 and above Pro.
  • Privacy: No names, photos, birth dates, match notes or exact ratings appear on these pages. So that nobody can be recognised, small numbers are not shown and quiet districts get no page of their own. On a match, the court name appears only after at least 3 different players used the same name.
  • Courts: Court counts come from Sporsepeti's court list; they are venue facts, not user data, so they are always shown. Names in the court list come only from OpenStreetMap records (© OpenStreetMap contributors).
